We're thrilled you're considering SHIA for a memorable evening. Here's what you need to know to plan your experience:
About SHIA
Location: 1252 4th Street NE, Washington, D.C. 20002.
Our Mission: SHIA is a modern Korean fine dining restaurant and a nonprofit dedicated to sustainability, next-generation education, and elevating Korean flavors.
Dining Options: We offer 5-course and 7-course dinner experiences. For large groups, only the 7-course option is available.
Reservations: We recommend booking at least one month in advance, especially for buyouts.
Buyouts: You can choose a full or half buyout for your event.
Chef Edward Lee: Please note that due to his busy schedule, Chef Edward Lee's participation is not expected for any offering. We appreciate your understanding.
Group Size & Booking
Parties of 1-6: Please reserve directly via OpenTable.
Parties of 7 or More: You're in the right place! Please complete this form.
7-10 Guests: We can accommodate either regular dining service or a full buyout.
22-23 Guests: We offer full or half buyouts in the dining room.
30 Guests: A full buyout is available, with seating for 22 in the dining area and 8 in the bar area.
Preparing for Your Experience
To ensure a flawless event, please provide the following details in your inquiry:
Occasion: Share the special occasion you're celebrating and why this date and time are important to you.
Dietary Needs: Inform us of any dietary restrictions or food allergies 2-3 weeks before your dinner so our chefs can prepare.
Guest List & Seating: Provide your guest list and any seating preferences 2-3 weeks prior so our manager can arrange service.
Korean Language: If you require a Korean language menu or service, please let us know.
